Since 2020, Noo Covers Gambian Mission has been serving families throughout The Gambia by providing practical assistance and educational opportunities. Through our Rice Campaign and Back-to-School Tuition Assistance Program, we have helped meet immediate needs while investing in brighter futures.
In 2025, our organization made an important shift in focus. Rather than concentrating primarily on food and emergency assistance, we committed ourselves to addressing one of the root causes of generational poverty: education.
The familiar proverb has become our guiding philosophy:
"Give a man a fish, and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he eats for a lifetime."
We believe that lasting change comes through education—whether in college, vocational training, or technical skills. Education empowers individuals to provide for themselves, strengthen their families, and build stronger communities.

Every student represents another family taking a step toward self-sufficiency and long-term opportunity.

Why Your Support Matters
In January 2025, significant reductions in U.S. foreign assistance to Africa left many communities with fewer resources. While governments debate policy, families still need opportunities, and students still need an education.
